Having been up since 5 am, struggling with a headach and trying to ignore the beginnings of a head cold, I was not really in the mood to carve a pumpkin. But the kids insisted. All I could think about was that I wanted to go to bed. Rather than carve a bed into my pumpkin I settled on a night-time sky.

I love your pumpkins. Love that you did one too. It all looks so fun. I haven't even thought about it this year, pumpkins. Happy Family Home Evening. Bet you didn't have trouble getting everyone there with a good attitude. And I bet everyone stayed awake. :)
I have never been big on pumpkin carving but maybe it could be fun as a family activity. I like that you did something non-traditional with it. And I love the pictures of your kids with their pumpkins. I want to come to your house for Halloween...I think it must be more fun with kids around to suck you into the fun of it.
