After missing out on putting a sticker on the tooth chart in kindergarten Nathan was determined that any tooth close to loose was going to get pulled in the first grade.
He patiently wiggled in front of the mirror
He was very brave (or scared) and wouldn't let anyone else touch it so for a while it hung in his mouth in very odd angles.
He went outside to play and after about an hour Hyrum informed him that his tooth was gone. It was so loose that he didn't even notice when it fell out.
After searching the grass, the playhouse, the garage and anywhere else he could remember being, he came to me with big tears in his eyes. I had been through this scenario with Justin at about the same age and hoped that Nathan would accept my suggestion as willingly as Justin had.
He wrote a note explaining how hard he worked to find his tooth.
The next morning he had a "golden dollar" under his pillow. (Sacajawea Coin)
