The Winner Is . . .

My camera doesn't take very good pictures.  Or, if I state the facts correctly, I don't know how to change the settings on my nice camera and I don't take very good pictures.  However, each picture still speaks a thousand words to me even though it may not be of professional, or even less than professional, quality.  The ISO is not usually correct (Vivien taught me that), I'm not good at zooming and capturing candid moments but I do have folders and folders of everyday pictures that call up memories and experiences and that's why I continue to take a million pictures.  And because I'm a visual personal.  I don't ever want to forget.

From the "July - Everyday" folder, these are my top favorites:

#3 - We consume pounds and pounds of watermelon each summer.  Every time I cut into a watermelon my kids flock to the kitchen, drooling, begging, wanting.  If I'm really hot outside and I'm feeling lazy, watermelon is considered dinner.  This particular day, Hyrum didn't even want his cut into smaller pieces.  He relished every juicy bite from the tip of his nose way down his shirt and shorts to his elbows and toes then proudly asked, "that was bigger than my head, can I have more?"

He was up several times that night to pee.

#2 - Best of Friends

#1 - My favorite picture from July is one that was captured late at night.  When I tell Nathan he can read until he falls asleep he takes it seriously. I went in around 10:30 to cover him up and turn the light off and this is what I found.

"What?" he asked when I started laughing, "my arms are tired".
