Wow! I can't believe my baby brother is old enough to be an Elder!Jared looked so happy. Dad gave him a wonderful blessing, conferring the Melchizedek Priesthood and ordaining him to the office of an Elder. What an honor.
Thanks for letting us share this big day with you! You are a great example to all of my boys.
I felt like I was in a bit of a time warp to see Jared and Hyrum and to think that when I graduated from high school Jared was as old as Hyrum is now. He has graduated and I have 6 kids!
It is also a little strange to go to mom and dad's house and only have the 2 of them living there. It's the first time in 32 years that they haven't had at least one kid hanging around that house.
By the way mom, your kitchen looks awesome. You and Dad and Bro. Lish have all put so much work into it.
I was too wound up last night to go to bed so while LeRoy worked up a couple of bids that needed to be done early Monday morning I quickly scrapbooked Jared ordination. Why did I do scrapbook pages for Jared? I don't know, there were pictures in the camera . . and it was a touching spiritual experience that I hope my boys will remember and look forward to feeling themselves for their own ordinations.

Your ability to get pages done amazes me. When do you find the time? Mike is gone for 2 days, so I'm hoping to get some pages done, but realistically, I'll probably just pass out as soon as I get the boys to sleep. :S
